The Yoga workshops are designed for people who like to deepen their practice or want a little CHANGE.

We take time to tune in, listen and allow ourselves to express this in the group or daily

LIFE.











Interweaving Yoga and music


Hatha Yoga and meditative music/healing sounds


have a lot in common and can support each other. They both calm the mind as they open channels for an inward journey.


Interweaving Pranayama, working with our voice and chanting, deepens our breath and gives a subtle kind of massage through vibration.  The beauty of many voices singing together, creates an instant feeling of peace and harmony within ourselves and the group of people around us, as we tune into each other.  Mantras and bhajans have their origin in the philosophy of bhakti yoga, the yoga of devotion. They invite the divine qualities into our life.


Meditative music played during asanas, slows down the pace. It creates a natural flow that invites us to stay longer in a yoga pose.  Expressing yourself through physical movement can help to liberate your inner feelings and longings.


During sequences with more rhythmic patterns of exercises, rhythm cycles support the understanding of different dynamics.


Pure sound of a quality rich in overtones, fills our cells with energy while it soothes the mind, invoking a meditative state.


Yoga movements and positions help us to stay fluid and aware of our bodies as we absorb the vibration of music.


The program will close with a meditative sound journey.

Music as Meditation


The concept of "Music as Meditation" is based on the idea of creating a safe space, which supports the meditative aspects of music and pure sound.  Meditation and healing are interrelated. Through deep relaxation, we gain access to our subconscious.  Old memories may surface and pass, blockages may be released.  As we perceive the music in a dreamlike state, we travel through soundscapes and inner landscapes that connect us to our centre.  Different kinds of vibration affect different parts in us.  As everything is vibration, it helps us to reconnect with ourselves and the nature around us.


Our music is a blend of eastern sounds, rooted in sacred Greek, Turkish sufi and Indian traditional music, of mostly improvisational character.  Our instruments consist of string instruments as the Turkish saz, the Greek lafta, lyra and tambouras as well as wind instruments as the Indian bansuri and the Turkish ney.  One part is of a more percussive nature, introducing the shamanic element with frame drums and various small percussion instruments.  Voice and mantras, singing bowls and bells are interwoven throughout the musical journey.

July 18, Thursday, 7 am -12 pm. At Cycladia. Fundamentals of Yoga theory & Practice. This program includes the learning roots of yoga which introduces us to the finest way of living, by being self purified, disciplined, physically aligned, having a naturally controlled breath and way of sensing. All these accommodate towards a yogic living, meditation and ultimately lead to salvation. And this really helps us to learn the present aspect of life.



July  19, Friday, 7 am -12 pm. At Cycladia.  Introductory of Asanas and its Origin and Practice Experience. This part of Yoga is one of the most important for life in our present living, and it covers up the physical and mental aspects. It builds up great personal work  and helps with our relationships etc.


July  20,  Saturday at Cycladia. Workshop: the Importance of Mudras a simple Practice to revive the body and mind. In ancient scriptures it's been mentioned that the way we move our hands, feet, toes and fingers  says something about our whole being.  The mudras can cure and prevent us in any upcoming trouble or cure  through appropriate action. Come and experience for yourself the beauty and grace of mudras. 


July 21,  Sunday, 6 am- 11 am. Trekking to Zas together with Traditional Sun Salutations (SURYA NAMASKAR) and its benefits. Surya namaskar is one of the most famous yoga practices and has been practiced by the whole world to be fit from toe to head, physically and mentally.  Here I will ingrain you with the Mantra aspect of it, spiritual gain and how you align your whole system by practicing it.



July 22,  Monday, 7 am- 12 pm. Location: on the beach. Importance of Asanas, Breathing and Awareness of Body and Mind. Asanas always comes first & mind too, because we need to prepare our physical mental being to be ready to receive and distribute the energy throughout our body with the help of the breathe. Here you will learn how to align your whole self with complete awareness in the lap of nature.



July 23, Tuesday, 7 am-12 pm. At Cycladia. Anatomy, Physiology, Nutrition + Introduction in cleansing the body and mind. 99% of all battles are won, only when you know what is where and how it works. So the importance of Anatomical positions and how they work is immense. In this workshop I will learn you the basics of it.


July 24, Wednesday, 7 am-11 am. Morning Cleansing of Nasal, Intestine and Yoga Nidra at Sea Side on any beach with shade. Life is all about accumulation of physical and mental substances into your system. Through the cleansing Kriya process, you will be aware of how to go through this procedure and learn to clean up your own self on a regular interval. This can help you to be disease free.
